You were born into a broken world.
A world sick with grief, heartache, and sin.You were born of it,
Into it,
Shaped by the weight of it.The destination of a sinner is damnation.
Eternal torture and fire.Jesus, in His great love for us, became the sacrifice for our sin.
He became man and lived a perfect, sinless life—
only to be killed in our place.Jesus the Christ sweat drops of blood knowing what He had to do.
He submitted Himself to a brutal, insufferable death.
What became of Him is not a story you can tell your kids.But Christ was perfect and sinless.
His death served as a sacrifice for the entirety of the world's sin.And in 3 days He rose again from the grave.
Death, being the ultimate result of sin, could not defeat Jesus—
and He conquered it.And 40 days later, He ascended into heaven.
And as He left, He sent us the Holy Spirit.Right now, we can invite Jesus into our lives—
and the Holy Spirit can enter our body.
God in us.
Not a metaphor. A reality.You don’t earn this.
You don’t work for it.
You respond to it.Say this prayer:Jesus, I accept what You did on the cross as the sacrifice for my sin.
I confess that I am a sinner and I repent.
Cleanse me of any unbelief in me, and right now I accept You as my Savior and Lord over my life.
Thank You for Your sacrifice.
Lord, show me just who You are, and witness to me Your love.In the name of Jesus, amen.---This is it.
